Thanks for putting this together. I have some great memories of this place and the concerts I saw, so astounded to be that close to some of them. I was going to college in Greeley during these years and was home for spring break in Colorado Springs. A buddy of mine from the Springs and I went to one of the Outlaws shows in March on the way back to Greeley. Enjoyed it so much that I talked one of my college friends into going back the next night. I was still under 21, and I think EF had a two drink minimum so we had to buy sodas. I had tried to sneak in a flask for a mixer and a waitress either saw the flask or the off- colored 7Up and caught me. She kindly just confiscated the flask, told us she could kick us out but let us stay with no further incidents.
ReplyDeleteMy overall favorite show, though, was Doc and Merle Watson. Sat on the front row and loved every minute.
