I remember a Doc Watson concert in which the warm-up group was called the New York rats. I also remember that it was so obnoxious that they were booed off stage.
ReplyDeleteI don't know who thought that the Doc Watson fans would be interested in and obnoxious rock band. The lead singer played air guitar on a blue aluminum baseball bat and kept screaming at the soundman to turn it up with every foul word you can think of.
